Neutrogena Face Cleanser During Pregnancy

report by Gabi on Casa Belén

Casa Belen, a social work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church German, Lima, Peru, is located in Brena, a poor district of Lima. The day care serves in the period of 8 to 16 clock, Monday to Friday, about 180 children from poor backgrounds aged between 1 and 11 years. Their mothers are often alone and thanks to Casa Belén have a job.

Besides age-appropriate, educational assistance and support from trained teachers, the children receive a balanced diet. A social worker has also maintained among others through home visits, contacts with families. Regular medical care of children is secured by a pediatrician. Difficult cases are supervised by a psychologist. Casa Belen is financed (domestic Bethlehem) solely by donations from Germany, to support the "Children's Emergency Relief" (Duisburg) as well as donations and collections from the German community in Lima.
I worked for three months at Casa Belen as a volunteer.
In itself, the body very nicely and the children are well cared for. They are very happy and it gave me a lot of fun to work with children. The staff is also very charming and it's been used many volunteers. Solid knowledge of English are essential, as failure on the good cooperation and communication should not be a permanent replacement is very important and wetrtvoll. Of course, the employees very much understanding and patience, but if the language is powerful, it is easier to take residence in a team or group.
I have worked in the group of the 1.5-2-year-olds. Since the groups consist of 20-25 children, much more help is needed. Add to my areas of activity included changing diapers, feeding, sleeping place, players and coaches. In the other groups already older and more independent so that children account for tasks such as winding and feeding.
As a volunteer you are a right hand as a way to understand the teacher. It would require preparation of material for craft programs, get food from the kitchen and Tischabwischen the standard program.
The daily schedule is through well structured. Between the different meal times (breakfast, fruit snack, lunch and another snack) will take place the morning program, such as crafts, painting, dancing, teaching sessions and small games. After lunch all the children sleep from 13-15h. Since time for a break, your own lunch, cleaning up and other preparation program.
Overall I have enjoyed my Voluntärzeit at Casa Belen and learned very much in the areas of pedagogy, education and in dealing with children.
are almost always volunteers (support) needed and anyone who feels to work with young children, is in the nursery just right. I can recommend a voluntary social activities at Casa Belen, said the period is three months in the same body I think the right place and sufficient (in general in Lima).
With a loving greeting, GABI
